Job summary

Washington Mills is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator for the 1st shift in North Grafton, MA. You will monitor and operate crushing and grading equipment, handle abrasive grain, and prepare shipments while maintaining safety and teamwork.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime on Fridays is possible in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education a plus
• Basic computer skills and math calculations
• Ability to read, write and speak English; Spanish a plus
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to production demands
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand up to 10 hours

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushing and grading equipment
• Handle and palletize abrasive grain and containers
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working conditions
• Identify potential mechanical issues and report them
• Assist in various duties as needed
