What You’ll Do

The Maintenance Mechanic will work directly with, and report to, the Maintenance Foreman and the Maintenance Manager. This position is -1st Shift: Hours are: 7:00am‑3:00pm, Monday – Friday; with occasional hours required on Saturdays.

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform necessary repairs of defective or worn components of crushers, graders, mills, kilns, cranes, and other industrial machineryPerform preventative maintenance and routine repairs-film equipment on site
• Responsible for the overall performance of equipment and vehicles
• Operate machine tools, including drills, saws, welders, hand tools, and cutting tools
• Be available for on‑call duty required
• Perform other necessary duties and projects as assigned

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this position, you must:

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; Trade School a plus
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, bend, and climb for most of the day
• Be able to operate various shop tools, i.e., cutters, drill press, band saw, welding tools, etc.
• Have access to a basic tool kit or be able to build one during the first few weeks of employment
