Job summary

Washington Mills in Sun Prairie, WI seeks a Machine Operator to run extrusion equipment, supply feedstock, and monitor cell machinery to meet quality specs. You'll work with Production Mechanics and management to resolve issues, with a first shift from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, a safety focus, and willingness to learn new plant equipment in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior industrial experience is a plus.
• Willing to learn equipment specific to the plant.

Responsibilities

• Supply feedstock to extrusion equipment and ensure a steady supply of material.
• Complete paperwork for each production lot before it leaves the area.
• Accurately report daily extrusion totals for designated lines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
