Job summary

Lennox in Georgia is hiring a Manufacturing Production Operator to assemble mechanical units and sub-assemblies in a fast-paced plant. You will use hand and power tools, load materials, and ensure parts meet tolerance and product specifications.

The role offers an hourly non-exempt position starting at $17.00/hour with overtime eligibility. Candidates should have a high school diploma and may have prior factory experience. Flexibility for shifts is required.

• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

What Drives Success

Under direct supervision, the Manufacturing Production Operator is responsible for assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts to create sub-assemblies or complete units. This role involves routine and repetitive assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Use various hand and power tools and operate equipment such as jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses.
• Cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble components.
• Obtain raw materials, load, and operate equipment to produce finished products.
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous factory experience preferred.

What We Offer

Compensation

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is $17.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
