Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations in a fast-paced setting. You will move materials to machines, stage components, and ensure production lines stay stocked and efficient.

Typical duties include forklift-assisted material transport, inventory checks, and keeping work areas clean and safe.Requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience; overtime and weekend work may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supply raw materials, components, and parts to designated production and assembly areas.
• Keep stations stocked with necessary materials to support daily operations.
• Move finished goods and inventory as required.
• Stack, organize, and load materials onto pallets for storage or shipment.
• Transport materials between warehouse and production areas using hand trucks or forklift equipment.
• Verify and deliver materials using work orders and delivery documents.
• Assist with inventory activities including cycle counts and material tracking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other departments during downtime or peak production periods.

What Drives Success

The primary function of this position is to support production and warehouse operations by safely moving, staging, and supplying materials to machine operators, assemblers, and other departments as needed to ensure efficient workflow and continuous production.

Job Duties:

• Supply raw materials, components, and parts to designated production and assembly areas.
• Keep assigned workstations and departments stocked with necessary materials to support daily operations.
• Move finished goods, excess materials, and unused inventory from production areas as required.
• Stack, organize, and load materials onto pallets/skids for storage or shipment.
• Transport materials between warehouse and production areas using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or electric/forklift equipment.
• Verify and deliver materials using work orders, pick tickets, or delivery documentation.
• Assist with inventory activities including cycle counts, physical inventory, and material tracking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other departments and assist with additional tasks as operational needs require.

• Forklift certification and/or ability to safely operate forklift equipment required.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility safely.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• A minimum of 1 year’s manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements – Essential

• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks).
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18.00-$24.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
