Lennox in Georgia is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator to assemble mechanical units in a fast-paced facility in Tifton. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for long periods, and working overtime, including weekends.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour for this non-exempt position, with overtime eligibility and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off. High school diploma and prior factory experience preferred.

What Drives Success

Under direct supervision, the Manufacturing Production Operator is responsible for assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts to create sub-assemblies or complete units. This role involves routine and repetitive assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use various hand and power tools and operate equipment such as jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses.
• Cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble components.
• Obtain raw materials, load, and operate equipment to produce finished products.
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous factory experience preferred.

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Able to remain in a standing, stationary position for extended periods
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime when required, including weekends

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is $17.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
