Job summary

ComSonics, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the production team and drive operational excellence in Mount Sidney, Virginia. You will oversee daily operations, guide a ~12-person team, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience with production planning, process improvement, and workforce development.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems.
Experience in ISO or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12 production employees, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate daily manufacturing activities and balance shifting priorities, schedules, material availability, staffing needs, and customer requirements to achieve production and quality goals.
Track critical details across the operation, anticipate obstacles, and implement solutions that keep production moving and minimize disruptions.
Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, enhance quality, and optimize the use of people, materials, and equipment.
Partner with Materials, Purchasing, Programs, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and on-time delivery to customers.
