Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with engineers and production teams to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in the production of high-quality products. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, performing time studies, maintaining SOPs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Support engineers in analyzing production processes for improvements.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic manufacturing issues.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist in designing tools and equipment based on engineering specs.
• Perform routine calibration of manufacturing equipment.
• Other tasks as needed by Manager.
