Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

The role collaborates with engineers and production teams to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate has an associate degree (or equivalent) in mechanical/industrial engineering and 1–3 years in manufacturing, with CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and knowledge of lean

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and understanding of lean principles.

Responsibilities

Assist in setup and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems.
Support engineers in analyzing production processes to identify improvements.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic manufacturing issues.
Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow.
Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
