Job summary

States Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves working closely with engineers and production teams to ensure the successful production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, process analysis, lean manufacturing, SOP development, and calibration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Support engineers in analyzing production processes for improvements.
• Implement lean principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams for manufacturability of new products.
• Troubleshoot basic manufacturing issues.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist in designing tools and equipment per engineering specs.
• Perform routine calibration of equipment.
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager.
