BlueScope is seeking a Manufacturing Process Manager I to oversee all plant manufacturing functions with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction. You will supervise production staff, coach teams, and drive key process indicators to build a high-performance culture.

Ideal candidates bring 5 years of manufacturing experience, 3 years in leadership, and a background in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage Compass shipping, scheduling, and delivery.
• Report on weekly forecast tons and hours.
• Communicate quality changes, inspections, drawings, root cause and corrective action.
• Understand tolerances and fabrication requirements.
• Create process goals and monitor efficiency.
• Administer inventory control.
• Mentor new hires and employee department transfers.
• Ensure all inspections are complete.
• Maintain employee work schedules in payroll system.
