Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking experienced manufacturing personnel in Florida to analyze and optimize production processes. The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement improvements and sustain documentation such as SOPs and work instructions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing assembly, strong knowledge of cables and harnesses, and proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, and engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Strong knowledge of cables, subassembly, and cabinet manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including schematics and wire run lists.
• Ability to walk stairs and stand for long periods on production floor.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to implement changes.
• Identify and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
• Maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.
