Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree (2 yr) in a technical field or 5 years experience as an engineering technician.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve complex problems.
• Solid understanding of fundamental mechanical systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel/Word PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes to increase yields and support production.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex production equipment.
• Support ongoing operations to address assembly problems and supplier quality.
• Perform lab testing to aid improvements or problem solving.
• Prepare, ECO, and maintain up-to-date documentation (procedures, test plans).
• Interface with production, sustaining engineering and QA to address issues.
• Identify opportunities for Manufacturing Cost reductions.
