Job summary

Kodak Corp in Rochester, NY seeks an Electrical and Controls Mechanic to support our Advanced Materials division. You will repair, maintain, install and improve film manufacturing and processing equipment, including instrumentation and controls.

The role emphasizes instrumentation calibration, PLC reading/modification, and adherence to safety standards. A strong electrical/ instrumentation background and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential, with comfort reading drawings

Qualifications

HS diploma and a 2-year degree or equivalent in controls/instrumentation or electrical trade.
Strong electrical and instrumentation training/experience.
Ability to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings.
Ability to read/modify PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Understanding of electrical codes for hazardous environments.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Safety-focused and able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, install and improve film manufacturing and processing equipment.
Calibrate control instruments to tight tolerances.
Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and PLCs.
Install conduit, wiring, and components; replace outdated systems.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Maintain ISO documentation and data entry.
