Job summary

States Manufacturing LLC in Dayton, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support, improve, and maintain production processes. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

The role requires hands-on CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), lean manufacturing knowledge, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/industrial engineering.
1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with manufacturing safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain manufacturing equipment.
Assist engineers in reviewing processes and identifying improvements.
Apply lean manufacturing to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to validate manufacturability of new products.
Troubleshoot basic production issues.
Conduct time and motion studies to improve workflow.
Create and update process documentation and SOPs.
Ensure processes meet safety and quality standards.
Assist in designing tools or equipment as needed.
Perform routine equipment calibration.
Other duties as assigned.
