Job summary

Kodak is seeking a Battery & Energy Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Rochester, NY facility. You will support pilot and production-scale roll-to-roll systems in the Eastman Business Park, applying mechanical, electrical, and control skills to keep equipment running efficiently.

The role demands hands-on repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, and the ability to read drawings and PLC programs. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential in this fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Formal instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and/or AEM training.
• Repair experience with pumps, seals, agitators, gearboxes, bearings.
• Analytical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read electrical, instrument, and machine drawings.
• Ability to read PLC programs for troubleshooting.
• Excellent safety record; knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install, and improve chemical processing equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance program.
• Calibrate and align with test and production equipment.
• Read electrical/control drawings and PLC programs.
