Job summary

GE HealthCare in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a motivated student intern to support equipment implementation, validation, and quality projects in a regulated manufacturing setting. You will assist with new equipment introduction, test processes, and data-driven problem solving.

This internship offers hands-on experience in Lean Six Sigma, collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams, and exposure to product development activities, with relocation assistance provided and a commitment

Qualifications

• A full-time student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or another related technical discipline.
• At least 24 credit hours toward a bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline; minimum of sophomore year standing.
• GPA of at least 3.0; strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Must be willing to relocate and able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead process/quality improvement projects for operational excellence.
• Support in product qualification package.
• Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma tools to drive improvements.
• Conduct data collection and apply data-driven analysis to problem solving.
