Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a student intern to support manufacturing and process improvement initiatives in a regulated environment. You will assist with equipment implementation, validation, and quality projects while applying Lean Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities include co-leading improvement projects, supporting product qualification, and learning data-driven problem solving. Relocation may be required; this is a paid internship in Utah.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• At least 24 credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related technical discipline; minimum of sophomore year standing.
• GPA of at least 3.0.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks.
• Must be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead process/quality improvement projects for operational excellence.
• Support in product qualification package.
• Opportunity to learn and apply Lean Six Sigma tools and make a positive impact to the business.
• Conduct data collection and apply data-driven analytical approaches to problem solving.
