Job summary

GE HealthCare’s Madison factory co-op offers hands-on experience on the production floor to maintain manufacturing processes, improve throughput, and collaborate with other engineers.

Interns will support production associates, drive KPI improvements, and maintain documentation within a regulated medical device environment, while learning Lean Six Sigma tools and participating in cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Materials or Industrial Engineering
• Competent with MS Office applications
• Inclusive mindset with courage to implement changes
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Co-lead process/quality improvement projects for operational excellence
• Support in product qualification package
• Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve the business
• Conduct data collection and apply data-driven problem solving
• Exposure to power generation repair workshop machinery & operating technologies.
