L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Continuous Improvement Intern in Rochester, NY to analyze and improve sequences of manufacturing and workflows, focusing on cost and schedule control, cost reduction, and inventory management. The candidate will help establish methods for maximizing production process utilization through improvement initiatives.

The role supports workflow optimization, lead and assist improvement efforts, and ensure safe, efficient use of resources.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or related field.
• Eligibility for internship in manufacturing/quality domains.
• Interest in process improvement and data-driven decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Provides continuous improvement support to manufacturing operations and related functional areas.
• Lead and support improvement efforts directed towards workflow, work sequencing, work area layout, and standardized work.
• Monitor and develop improvement efforts to ensure safe and efficient utilization of time, personnel, material, equipment, and capital resources.
