Thinklance LLP seeks a Lean Manufacturing internship candidate to support HMS deployment and data-driven improvements. You will work on Kaizen events, 5S, and standard work documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a related degree with a 3.0 GPA, proficient in Excel/Power BI, and eager to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university during the internship (May-August 2027).
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Strong interest in Lean Manufacturing, CI, and Operational Excellence.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Self-motivated and eager to gain hands-on experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma/5S/Kaizen exposure preferred but not required.
• Previous project coursework or internships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean and HMS implementation initiatives.
• Contribute to HMS Bronze Certification efforts through data analysis and kaizen events.
• Assist 5S and visual management programs and maintain standard work docs.
• Help with continuous improvement projects on safety, quality, delivery, and waste reduction.
• Support departments in sustaining HMS practices toward certification.
• Drive measurable operational improvements and gain hands-on experience.
