Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to manufacturing activities, including inspection and test activities, troubleshooting, and MRB management of nonconformances.
• Evaluate and disposition customer returns, in-process defects, and address day to day quality concerns. Implement containment and corrective actions.
• Support, mentor, and guide cross-functional groups in problem solving, root cause identification, corrective actions, and verification.
• Participate in the L3Harris Zero Defect Plan program planning and implementation.
• Generate and analyze data and metrics to prioritize corrective action and improvement activities.
• Participate in and support manufacturing (Gemba) and program status and scrum meetings.
• Plan, analyze, survey and control to assure all applicable quality requirements are adhered to throughout a program.
• Review new contracts to determine QA requirements and flow them down to appropriate levels.
• Assist Engineering design reviews and sign off on drawings conformance to quality requirements.
• Partner with Engineering to identify CTQ test and inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to implement test and inspection plans.
• Coordinate with Supplier Quality to ensure requirements flow to subcontractors.
• Input into process layouts, build plans, and work instructions to aid continuous improvement.
• Prepare cost estimates.
