Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Process Engineer to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations. The role includes leading root cause analysis, developing standard work, and supporting capital projects to boost efficiency and reliability.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing (GMP preferred), and familiarity with PLC/I-O controls and MES systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, GMP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead root cause analysis for process failures.
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions.
  • Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).
  • Improve production line efficiency to increase OEE.
  • Support maintenance in equipment troubleshooting.
  • Re-engineer existing equipment for optimization, reliability, safety, and throughput.
  • Confer with management to implement plans and meet CI goals.
  • Lead CI initiatives (5S, Waste Reduction, Value-Stream Mapping).
