Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams for troubleshooting.
  • Identify and implement process controls to improve reliability, quality, and performance.
  • Maintain product standards and drive yield and efficiency improvements.
  • Investigate and implement new manufacturing technologies.
  • Manage and support capital projects related to manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other process documentation.
  • Create and maintain operator training materials and support training activities.
  • Serve as a technical process resource for customers and suppliers.
  • Participate in plant Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

An established specialty materials and manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, product quality, yield, and cost efficiency.

This role will work closely with operations, maintenance, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot processes, implement improvements, and support new manufacturing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with process improvement, manufacturing optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
