Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Must be near Mondelez International’s Naperville, IL Plant (1555 Ogden Ave, Naperville, IL 60540).
• Available to do full‑time hours (40 hours per week) over the Summer, and part‑time hours during Spring/Fall 2027.
• Applicants must have work authorization in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong leadership potential and student leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills and resilience.
• Adaptable, with interpersonal savvy and involvement in diverse activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing site with process optimization and data analysis.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, engineering, maintenance, and quality.
• Gain hands‑on experience on the production floor and document procedures.
• Participate in Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Update process maps, SOPs, and operating manuals to sustain improvements.
