Job summary

Strategic Recruiting Resources is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art production facility in Wisconsin, focused on architectural wood doors. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and emphasizes process improvement and KPI attainment.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and 3+ years in assembly operations, preferably wood products, with strong communication to work across all levels of

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an assembly operation.
• Wood products experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance.
• Apply process improvement skills to meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and sustain improvements on the floor.
• Coordinate with operators, supervisors and leadership to resolve issues.
• Plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Improve processes and eliminate waste in key constraint areas.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
