Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art architectural wood door production facility in Manitowoc, WI. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and focuses on solving day-to-day manufacturing problems with a strong emphasis on process improvement and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, 3+ years in a similar role, and proven project management and leadership

Formación

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• Prior leadership experience is important for an independent role.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently and on a team.
• Prior project management experience, start to finish, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of staff.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve daily operations.
• Drive process improvements to meet KPIs and reduce waste.
• Develop and implement practical solutions, ensuring sustained improvements.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and collaborate with operators, supervisors, and leadership.
• Coordinate design, development, and validation of manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Develop and drive metrics in collaboration with Production Teams.
