Job summary

A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a state-of-the-art architectural wood door production facility in Wisconsin. The role is hands-on and requires flexibility to work with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve day-to-day operations.

Candidates should have an associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role within a custom assembly environment, with strong problem solving and communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for solving hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance.
• Drive process improvements to meet KPIs and sustain results.
• Develop practical solutions and lead changes from problem identification to execution.
• Maintain floor presence and work with operators, supervisors, and leadership to resolve issues.
