Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or related engineering field.
Seven years of advanced manufacturing experience in private, public, government or military environments.
Current, valid Driver’s License.
Master’s degree in Engineering and five years in polymer extrusion, web handling, fiber spinning, and slitting (nice to have).

Responsibilities

Provide process engineering support across Old Hickory manufacturing operations to drive safety, quality, service and cost.
Monitor and improve operations using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with production and maintenance to troubleshoot downtime issues.
Drive understanding of key customer needs and monitor process capabilities.
Utilize project management skills to organize and execute projects.
Support self and peer technical growth through continuous learning and applying new skills.
