The role requires a engineering degree and 2+ years in manufacturing, with experience in CI, Six Sigma, Lean, and data analysis tools like Excel/Minitab/SQL. Travel and relocation are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement improvements related to safety, quality, service, and productivity.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment/downtime issues.
• Identify opportunities requiring capital expenditure and manage projects to completion.
• Participate in day-to-day operations, EHS activities, and process change management.
• Lead CI projects using project management tools to define objectives, timelines and next steps.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis and apply problem solving.
• Develop process standards and documentation for operation.
• Provide engineering support including occasional night/weekend availability.
