Job summary

Emerson in Marshalltown, IA is seeking a manufacturing-focused engineer to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction initiatives. You will collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Marketing to address manufacturability issues, drive Lean implementation, and develop best practices.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field and US work authorization are required. You will participate in capital planning, support production coordination, and help reduce nonconformances while improving

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field as listed.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Hands-on internship or CO-OP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support safety culture and KPI achievement (Safety, Quality, Delivery).
Assist in development and qualification of new procedures and processes.
Interface with Engineering, Sales and Marketing for manufacturability issues.
Support Lean implementation and reduction of cost of quality.
Aid in coordinating production and quality activities to meet customer expectations.
Identify and implement annual cost reductions and process improvements.
Develop best practices and communicate them via training and meetings.
