Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or related field from a four‑year college or university, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with statistical process control, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods to cut cost and improve competitiveness.
• Research new manufacturing technologies and propose capital projects.
• Plan workforce, space, workflow, and equipment layout for efficiency and safety.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure scalable production methods.
• Collaborate with vendors to define specs and source equipment and materials; assess quality.
• Estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs for decisions.
• Collaborate on capabilities, schedules, and process improvements across teams.
• Implement engineering changes and new processes in manufacturing systems.
• Use CAD/CAM and CNC machining programs to optimize processes.
• Apply statistical methods to improve process capability.
• Create work instructions and tooling documentation for production.
• Support production by troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
