Job summary

Emerson in Marshalltown, Iowa is seeking an Engineering professional to provide a manufacturing support interface with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to address manufacturability issues related to machining and to support the development and qualification of new procedures and processes.

You will coordinate cross‑functional activities, promote Lean initiatives, drive OEE improvements, and contribute to capital project planning, training, and the reduction of cost of quality, while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or similar field of study.
• Hands-on internship/CO-OP/project-based assignment lasting at least six months.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a manufacturing support interface with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to address manufacturability issues.
• Lean implementation – supporting the implementation of Lean in processes as appropriate.
• Coordinate and connect with all levels of the organization and communicate best practices and procedures.
• Assist in development of capital plans and implementation of new capital technology to improve manufacturing processes.
