Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in Marshalltown, IA seeks a manufacturing/process engineer to support Lean initiatives, drive OEE improvements, and coordinate cross-functional activities with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. Responsibilities

• Support and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support the achievement of critical success factors: Safety, Quality, Delivery/Lead-time, Cost/Inventory, and Cost of Quality.
• Support development and qualification of new procedures and processes.
• Provide manufacturing support interface with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing for manufacturability issues.
• Lean implementation support in processes.
• Understand and support reduction in Cost of Quality (COQ).
• Drive OEE: analyze data and implement root-cause solutions for improvements.
• Identify and facilitate process improvements for productivity.
• Coordinate with all levels of the organization and present findings.
• Develop best practices and procedures; train via Visual Workplace, training, and area meetings.
• Participate in capital planning and new capex to reduce nonconformance.
• Assist in coordinating production and quality to meet customer expectations.
• Identify and implement annual cost reductions and process improvements.
