Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in assembly, machining, and electromechanical assembly.
• Experience with capital improvement justification and projects; proficient with Microsoft Office; strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and production methods.
• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure manufacturability of products.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and process maps.
• Coordinate capital equipment acquisition and manage capital asset programs.
• Drive improvements in KPIs: yield, cycle time, throughput, scrap, and OEE.
• Plan and implement automation and new technology to speed up production.
• Optimize equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization.
• Support NPD and production ramp-up activities.
• Lead lean initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, TPM, 8D) and safety/compliance efforts.
