Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline preferred; equivalent combination considered.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in a high-mix, discrete manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing, improving, and troubleshooting manufacturing or assembly processes.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, time studies, line balancing, and process optimization.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, work cells, process layouts, or automation (installation, commissioning, troubleshooting).
• Experience with electrical/electronic products, HVAC equipment, or similar industrial products preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for assembly and production operations, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, capacity, delivery, and cost.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, PDCA, root cause analysis, time studies, line balancing, and structured problem-solving to improve capability and reduce scrap and cycle time.
• Develop and improve production lines, work cells, and tooling to support ergonomic, efficient operations with appropriate process controls.
• Troubleshoot processes, equipment, tooling, and product issues; identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and production transfers with process development and validation.
• Lead projects on equipment, tooling, and capital investments; coordinate internal resources and external suppliers.
• Monitor manufacturing performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions via PDCA.
• Collaborate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering to sustain improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard work.
• Support manufacturing systems and data accuracy (ERP, MES, BOMs, routings, work centers).
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation to improve quality and cost.
