Therm-x of California is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Hayward, CA. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes for the Heater & Sensors division to ensure quality and efficiency.

The candidate will support production, perform process validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive lean initiatives and successful NPI transfers.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Electro-Mechanical or equivalent).
• Proficient in Office applications with CAD drafting experience.
• Experience reading drawings and BOMs; able to interpret schematics.
• Self-motivated; capable of independent supervision.
• 6+ years in low-volume, high-variety manufacturing environments.
• Experience with sensors, heating products or related industries preferred.
• Familiar with SPC, DOE, process qualification and failure analysis.
• Experience developing fixtures, test setups, and production tooling.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for Heater & Sensors division.
• Provide technical support to production for troubleshooting issues.
• Create and maintain OMS, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Support lean initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Lead NPI readiness and product transfers to production facilities.
• Perform process validation and analysis of manufacturing data for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and engineering requirements.
