Job summary

Getman Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to independently develop and implement efficient metal fabrication processes. The role emphasizes tooling, fixtures, and continuous improvement to support safety, quality, and productivity.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to establish repeatable, sustainable manufacturing processes and drive cost-effective solutions with limited guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field required or 3+ years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• CAD/CAM and welding experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support capital projects, process improvements and manufacturing flow optimization.
• Develop routings and standard times for Getman products.
• Support CNC, laser, plasma, forming, welding and finishing operations.
• Create and improve tooling, fixtures, and production aids.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and lean improvements.
