Vertiv in Delaware, Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, develop efficient workflows, ensure safety, and improve product quality. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic planning to drive continuous improvement and support production operations.

Responsibilities include process improvement, PFMEA, workflow documentation, lean manufacturing, project management, fixture design, and production support.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in a technical field; manufacturing/industrial engineering preferred.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a production environment preferred.
  • Lean Certification preferred; experience with PFMEA and ISO/Quality systems a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, plan, design, and implement projects to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve cycle time.
  • Develop, document, and maintain detailed work instructions for manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct PFMEA to identify and mitigate risks in manufacturing processes.
  • Manage development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs; lead project teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to design and fabricate fixtures to support development and production.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot equipment and machine issues as needed.
