Job summary

STARC Systems Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes on the floor and in data analysis for safe, scalable operations across production, quality, supply chain, product development, and maintenance.

The successful candidate is a hands-on problem solver, capable of leading projects, collaborating cross-functionally, and driving improvements with Lean, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP data, and robust process documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience with process improvement, new product introduction, tooling/fixture design, and process development.
• Experience with machining, fabrication, assembly, automation, and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external equipment suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost performance.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and drive continuous improvement using Lean and root-cause methodologies.
• Develop and maintain standard work, work Instructions, process documentation, and ECO support.
• Optimize equipment utilization, labor efficiency, material flow, and process capability across operations.
• Support production scalability through capacity planning and process improvements.
• Lead equipment specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation.
