Job summary

Saint-Gobain, a global materials leader, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design, implement and optimize manufacturing processes. You will apply World Class Manufacturing methods, statistical tools, and Kaizen to reduce variation and improve efficiency across facilities.

The role emphasizes cost-effective process control, workflow optimization, and strategic projects to meet customer quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline – Required.
• 3+ years of professional process experience in a manufacturing environment – Required.
• 2+ years of experience in project management and project engineering fundamentals – Preferred.
• Proficient in data analysis tools, computer systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
• Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data; provide management with reports.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with laws and regulations.
• Review costs and schedules to assist management decisions.
• Plan workflow, equipment placement, and space to improve efficiency; coordinate maintenance.
