Job summary

Generac is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Wisconsin to lead process-improvement initiatives and improve manufacturing methods across the value chain. You will study products and processes, identify improvements, and collaborate with shop floor personnel to implement changes.

Responsibilities include coordinating NPI launches, supporting facility transformation, and driving cost reductions through standardized tools and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology required.
3–5 years of related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
CAD tools experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or Pro/E required.
Knowledge of lean principles and process improvements.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations.
Support facility transformation, technology transfer and maintenance of mixed model lines.
Promote continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, systems and controls.
Ensure materials, product and information flow to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Deploy Generac tools and processes to meet objectives.
