Job summary

Frazer is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer II to join our manufacturing engineering team. You will analyze how we build, identify inefficiencies, and engineer improvements that make production safer, faster, and more consistent.

Your work directly shapes the quality of the vehicles first responders rely on every day. You will walk the floor, perform root-cause analysis, write standard work, run cycle time studies, and train teams to sustain gains across cross-functional functions such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Working knowledge of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Walks the production floor, studies how work flows, and pinpoints waste, variation, or bottlenecks.
• Performs root cause analysis (5 Why, fishbone, Pareto) to identify real drivers.
• Designs and implements corrective actions and verifies sustained improvements.
• Writes and refines standard work, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Runs cycle time studies and process maps to measure performance and impact of changes.
• Partners with quality, production, supply chain, and maintenance to solve cross-functional problems.
• Reviews readiness for new products and process changes, flags risks, and ensures scalable processes.
• Coaches and trains production teams on updated processes to sustain gains.
