Job summary

Fralock is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our Chatsworth, CA team. You will develop and refine manufacturing processes, work with design and production to ensure manufacturability, and drive lean improvements to reduce scrap and improve throughput.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and suppliers, manage ERP systems, and support new product introductions while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) and able to read engineering drawings.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis, and attention to detail.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, tooling, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed work instructions and define manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Lead projects to implement lean improvements and reduce scrap/rework.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on manufacturing actions and specs.
• Coordinate tooling and work centers for new product ramp.
