Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Durham, NH. You will develop and sustain processes, create instructions, and troubleshoot issues across cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will work hands-on with processes including brazing, heat treatment, machining, assembly, and testing, while supporting new product introductions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes, production, and/or new product introduction.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and compliance with drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues, supporting root cause analysis and nonconformance investigations.
• Support new product introduction, including FAI activities and engineering change implementation.
• Identify and implement cost and cycle-time reduction initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Support special process qualifications, equipment validation, and manufacturing process documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Provide technical support for production teams, ensuring safe and effective manufacturing operations.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
