Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. is seeking a process engineer to ensure daily manufacturing targets while improving safety, productivity, and product quality.

This fully onsite role is based at the Greenfield, IN plant and focuses on optimizing processes, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in process engineering, strong knowledge of production machinery, PLC systems, and experience with die casting.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in engineering or technology or equivalent experience and education
• 5+ years’ work experience in process engineering
• Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards
• Knowledge of computer programs necessary to perform job duties

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to production departments.
• Interact with production departments to develop and improve manufacturing.
• Identify, coordinate and recommend cost savings and efficiency ideas.
• Schedule and coordinate timely preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Produce reports to show impact of activities and attend meetings as required.
• Support cross-training efforts by providing guidance and direction.
• Other duties as assigned.
