Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company is seeking an engineer to join an agile team delivering standardized machining solutions for new powertrain programs in Michigan, Ohio, and Ontario. You will work with OEMs, plants, and tooling teams to design, scope, and implement processes that optimize quality and cost.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 1+ years of engineering experience, and knowledge of GD&T. Travel up to 50% is expected, with hybrid onsite work in Dearborn, MI. Ford ecosystem experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 1+ years of engineering and manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of GD&T reading engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills for complex projects with multiple objectives.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma.
• Proven record of customer-focused work.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of machining systems for new powertrain programs in MI, OH, and Ontario, Canada.
• Utilize machining process knowledge to optimize quality, cost, timing, and footprint.
• Support equipment installation, run capability, and handover to plants.
• Initiate bids and work with Purchasing to place orders.
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, Product and Plant engineering to resolve issues.
• Coordinate facilities, safety, ergonomics, material handling, tooling, and gauging.
