Confident Search Consultants seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art wood door production facility in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and emphasizes solving manufacturing problems and driving improvements on the floor.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, 3+ years in a custom assembly operation, and proven leadership, communication, and project management skills to work

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Strong leadership and the ability to work independently and on a team.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations on the floor.
• Drive process improvements to meet KPIs and safety, quality, productivity goals.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
• Work closely with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
• Escalate complex manufacturing issues requiring deeper process analysis.
• Plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
