Hire Consulting Services seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art wood door production facility in Manitowoc, WI. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and emphasizes process improvement.

You’ll resolve day-to-day manufacturing issues, collaborate with production, maintenance and engineering, and drive measurable gains in safety, quality and efficiency. Leadership experience is valued for this independent role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Prior leadership experience and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Strong project management experience from start to finish is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills across all staff levels.

Responsabilités

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations.
• Work with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance and Engineering.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor with operators and supervisors.
• Escalate complex problems requiring deep process analysis and technical solving.
• Plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Improve processes and reduce waste in key areas.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
