Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Manitowoc, WI. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and focuses on process improvements across manufacturing operations.
You will work closely with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve day-to-day issues, drive waste reduction, and improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
- Prior leadership experience is important as this is an independent role with the manager based at another plant.
- 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff.
Responsibilities
- Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance.
- Develop and sustain process improvements to meet KPIs.
- On-floor presence with operators, supervisors, and leadership to resolve issues.
- Escalate complex problems requiring deeper process analysis and technical solving.
